By using NissMatch, you agree to uphold these standards and contribute to a community worthy of the serious commitment our members are seeking.

1. Our Values

Everything we do at NissMatch is guided by four core values:

• Safety: Your wellbeing is our priority. We have built robust verification systems and moderation processes to create a secure environment where you can explore potential matches with confidence.

2. Profile Standards

Your profile is your first introduction to potential matches. To maintain the quality and trustworthiness of our community, we require the following:

2.1 Photos

• Use recent, clear photographs that accurately represent your current appearance.
• Your primary photo must clearly show your face.
• Do not use heavily filtered, misleading, or digitally altered images.
• Group photos should not be used as your primary profile picture.
• Photos must not contain nudity, explicit content, or offensive imagery.

2.2 Personal Information

• Provide truthful information about your age, education, occupation, and marital history.
• Accurately describe your lifestyle, values, and what you are looking for in a partner.
• Do not impersonate another person or create fictitious identities.
• Do not create multiple accounts.

2.3 Bio and Written Content

• Write your bio thoughtfully and respectfully.
• Do not include offensive language, discriminatory remarks, or inappropriate humor.
• Do not share external contact information (phone numbers, social media handles) in your bio.
• Bios should reflect genuine intentions toward marriage and partnership.

3. Communication Rules

When communicating with other members, please remember that everyone on NissMatch is here with serious intentions. Treat every conversation as you would want to be treated.

3.1 Prohibited Behavior

• Harassment: Do not send threatening, intimidating, or persistently unwanted messages. If someone declines your interest, respect their decision gracefully.
• Explicit Content: Do not send sexually explicit messages, images, or requests. NissMatch is a marriage-focused platform, and all interactions should reflect that purpose.
• Spam and Solicitation: Do not use the platform for advertising, promoting businesses, requesting money, or any form of commercial solicitation.
• Hate Speech: Do not use language that attacks, demeans, or discriminates against individuals or groups based on ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, disability, or any other characteristic.
• Manipulation: Do not engage in emotional manipulation, love-bombing, or any behavior designed to pressure or coerce another member.

3.2 Best Practices

• Be genuine and thoughtful in your messages.
• Ask meaningful questions and show genuine interest.
• Communicate your intentions clearly and honestly.
• If you are no longer interested, let the other person know respectfully rather than disappearing.
• Keep initial conversations on the platform for your safety.

4. Verification Requirements

Identity verification is a cornerstone of the NissMatch experience. We believe that trust begins with knowing that every person on the platform is who they say they are.

4.1 Why We Verify

• To eliminate fake profiles and impersonation.
• To create a safer environment for all members.
• To build the foundation of trust that serious matchmaking requires.
• To protect our community from fraud and scams.

4.2 What Is Required

• Selfie Verification: A real-time selfie to confirm you match your profile photos.
• ID Verification:A valid government-issued photo ID (passport, national ID card, or driver's license) processed securely through our verification partner, Veriff.
• NFC Verification (Premium): For members seeking the highest level of trust, NFC chip reading of compatible identity documents provides an additional layer of authentication.

Your verification documents are processed securely and are never shared with other members. Only the verification status (verified or not verified) is visible on your profile.

5. Reporting & Moderation

We rely on our community to help us maintain a safe and welcoming environment. If you encounter behavior that violates these guidelines, we encourage you to report it.

5.1 How to Report

• Use the "Report" button available on every profile and in every conversation.
• Select the reason for your report from the provided categories.
• Add any additional context or screenshots that may help our team review the situation.
• For urgent safety concerns, email us directly at safety@nissmatch.company.

5.2 What Happens When You Report

• Your report is received and acknowledged within 24 hours.
• Our moderation team reviews the reported content and the member's history.
• Appropriate action is taken based on the severity and nature of the violation.
• You will be notified of the outcome of your report.
• Your identity as the reporter is kept confidential.

6. Consequences

We take violations of these guidelines seriously. Our goal is always to educate and correct behavior first, but we will not hesitate to take stronger action when necessary to protect our community.

6.1 Progressive Enforcement

• Warning: For first-time or minor violations, you will receive a written warning explaining the issue and how to correct your behavior. Your account remains active.
• Temporary Suspension: For repeated violations or more serious offenses, your account may be temporarily suspended for a period determined by our moderation team. During suspension, you cannot access the platform.
• Permanent Ban: For severe violations (including but not limited to harassment, fraud, impersonation, or sharing explicit content), your account will be permanently removed from NissMatch with no option for reinstatement.

6.2 Immediate Removal

Certain behaviors result in immediate permanent removal without prior warning. These include: creating fake or fraudulent profiles, sending threats of violence, engaging in financial scams, sharing another member's private information without consent, and any illegal activity conducted through the platform.

7. Cultural Sensitivity

NissMatch serves the global Moroccan community, which encompasses a rich tapestry of backgrounds, traditions, and perspectives. We are committed to honoring this diversity.

• Respect diverse backgrounds: Our members come from Morocco and the diaspora across Europe, North America, and beyond. Respect the variety of cultural experiences, languages, and traditions within our community.
• No cultural gatekeeping:Do not question or challenge another member's cultural identity or authenticity. Everyone experiences and expresses their heritage differently.
• Religious respect: Members have varying levels of religious practice and interpretation. Respect these differences without judgment or pressure.
• Language inclusivity: Our platform supports Arabic, French, English, and Dutch. Communicate in whichever language you are most comfortable with, and be patient with members who may be communicating in a second or third language.
• Family involvement: Some members prefer significant family involvement in their search for a partner, while others prefer more independence. Both approaches are valid and should be respected.
